Description
Gallery exhibits and cultural events plus educational art center offering more than 90 day and evening art classes each semester.
The Art School at Old Church is a nonprofit, nonsectarian educational facility established in 1974. A group of artists rescued an abandoned 19-century church building with little more than their passion and a will to succeed.
More than 35 years later, the Art School continues to provide educational and cultural offerings that enrich the quality of life in the local community and beyond. It is a meeting place for learning and exchanging artistic ideas in an environment that nurtures the creative process.
The Mikhail Zakin Gallery is co-located at the Art School at Old Church. The gallery provides a venue for established and emerging artists. Free and open to the public.
