East Hanover

This township is uniquely diversified by the surrounding landscape. The Troy Meadows Wetlands, located within the Whippany River Watershed and the Passaic River Basin, is a National Natural Landmark and encompasses 3,100 acres of land for hiking and wildlife viewing. 

If you would rather view storefront retail locations and purge a little bit of funds, then make your way to East Hanover Plaza, Riverwalk Plaza Shopping Center or Castle Ridge Plaza. The shopping centers along State Highway 10 are guaranteed to accommodate.

After a day of shopping stop by The Funplex. The indoor amusement center is approximately 100,000 square feet and offers family entertainment for all ages. The Funplex features go-karts, laser tag, bumper cars, a 4D Theater and an arcade to enhance your recreational visit.

The community also hosts various events throughout the calendar year such as the East Hanover Farmers Market, Music in the Park, and the annual 4th of July celebration in Lurker Park.
