Long Valley

The alluring peacefulness of the South Branch Raritan River and Electric Brook draw visitors and residents to their banks for canoeing, fly fishing and hiking. Scott Park, Rock Spring Park and Schooley’s Mountain Park offer a variety of recreational opportunities for residents and visitors.

Ort Farms has been established for more than six generations in Long Valley. The location is an icon in the community and offers fresh produce at their local farmer’s market stands. In the fall, an elaborate 8-acre corn maze dazzles visitors and monster truck rides are very popular with the children as well.

Long Valley hosts numerous shops and restaurants along East Mill Road and Fairmount Road. Bakeries, cafes, salons and unique storefronts quench the palate and tickle the pocketbook. One of those establishments, Long Valley Pub and Brewery, which is nestled between the stone walls of a 1771 barn, serves delicious American fare and maintains a frothy variety of ales straight from the in-house brewery.
