In the area immediately surrounding the golden dome of the New Jersey State House is the New Jersey State Museum, an exciting attraction featuring four museums in one, with a planetarium, a fine art collection of more than 12,000 works, a natural history collection and an impressive assemblage of cultural history, archaeology and ethnography artifacts.

Just across the street from the State House is the New Jersey World War II Memorial that that honors and pays tribute to the courage and sacrifices of our "Greatest Generation." The Capitol Complex, as it's known, also is home to War Memorial. Visitors can catch a show inside at Patriots Theater, which has hosted world-class artists and entertainers, including the American Ballet Theater, The Philadelphia Orchestra and dozens more.

Located between the State House and the War Memorial is the Old Barracks Museum. The only original French and Indian War Barracks still standing in the U.S. It was base to Hessian soldiers at the first battle of Trenton during the American Revolutionary War.

The Trenton Thunder, an MLB Draft League baseball team, is a thrilling and inexpensive way to treat the family to America’s favorite pastime. The Cure Insurance Arena hosts major concerts and family-friendly entertainment. Past headliners to have graced the stage included international music sensations like Cher, Bruce Springsteen, Shania Twain, Elton John and Luciano Pavarotti. The center has also hosted kid-centric shows like the Ringling Bros., Barnum & Bailey Circus and The Harlem Globetrotters.
