Entertainment Under the Stars
PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel (formerly the Garden State Arts Center) is a premier outdoor concert venue that each year draws thousands to see world-class entertainers and concert groups. Performances and shows run from May through September and the center also hosts numerous special events and festivals.
The center opened in 1968 on a portion of the 400-acre Telegraph Hill Nature Area. Its construction was part of the New Jersey Highway Authority’s plan to develop roadside recreational facilities along the Garden State Parkway. The center has 6,900 seats – with lawn seating for an additional 10,600 – and features state-of-the-art sound and video screens.
