Another story ripped from the NJ headlines from the author of Lines in the Dust. When Rachel's anti-Native mascot activism crosses the legal line, her aunt comes up with a sure-fire way to teach her a valuable lesson about accountability. But when Rachel's punishment creates an opportunity to fulfill her original mission, she must decide whether or not her agenda is worth a new sacrifice. Indian Head gives us a window into the perspective of a young Lenape girl as she grapples with the cost of reclaiming dignity.
