Overview
Lord Stirling Stable, a facility of the Somerset County Park Commission, offers recreational horseback riding and instruction, lead line pony rides, pony-themed birthday parties, and special events throughout the year. Guided trail rides are available daily. Group trail rides and hayrides may be arranged for celebrations, team-building, and other occasions. Hourly horse rentals are offered to experienced riders able to trot and canter with control in an English saddle. Riding programs focus on fun and safety, typically in English style.

UPDATE: Due to COVID-19 the Stable will be CLOSED for the remainder of 2020. Programming will resume in 2021.

The park is situated on 450 acres, with 14 miles of well-groomed trails. Private horse owners may purchase annual trail passes, attend twice-yearly Hunter Pace events, ride in clinics, and participate in the annual Dressage Schooling Show.
