TD Bank Ballpark, "The Jewel of The Atlantic League," opened its gates on June 7, 1999 for the first ever Somerset Patriots minor league baseball team's home game in front of 6,506 fans.
Since opening, the stadium has become one of the most successful minor league ballparks in the nation, drawing more than 4 million fans by its 12th season.

The Somerset Patriots are the most successful team in the Altantic league winning 5 Atlantic League Championships in 10 years (2001, 2003, 2005, 2008, 2009).
