Vibrant New Jersey Tourism Commercial Anchors Summer Advertising Campaign

As Travelers Plan Summer Itineraries, Multifaceted Campaign Spotlights New Jersey’s Diverse Tourism Destinations – “Now THAT’s New Jersey!”

TRENTON - The New Jersey Division of Travel & Tourism’s compelling new television commercial propels the REAL New Jersey onto center stage with vivid imagery and award-winning cinematography. The 30-second TV spot goes beyond simply suggesting a visit to the Garden State – it draws viewers in by highlighting New Jersey’s signature attractions as well as a sampling of the state’s artistic, cultural and historic destinations.

The campaign captures real-world vacation experiences found right here in New Jersey - from surfing to a wild safari, from Steel Pier’s amusements to The Stone Pony’s entertainment. Viewers will see historic venues such as the Brigantine Lighthouse, exciting dining and nightlife choices in Atlantic City and families bonding over New Jersey’s 130 miles of pristine coastline.

New Jersey’s great destinations will be splashed across the Eastern seaboard and drivers will see billboard images of the state’s diverse tourism gems along major thoroughfares. The versatile media mix also features radio, print and online advertising.

“The campaign celebrates the theme of “Now THAT’s New Jersey” and spotlights destinations that show visitors what terrific tourism offerings we have in the great Garden State,” notes Grace Hanlon, executive director of the New Jersey Division of Travel & Tourism. “Stroll the gorgeous beaches of Ocean Grove or exceptional New Jersey art at the Noyes Museum. Steal away to one of Cape May’s romantic Victorian inns. Take the kids on an eco-tourism canoe trip in the Pinelands. Or experience family-friendly Ocean City attractions, like Gillian’s Wonderland Pier for classic amusements and Atlantic City’s historic Boardwalk, seaside casinos, luxurious resorts, dining, spas and world-class shopping.”
