Atlantic City Nightlife

Atlantic City’s once famous seaside galas have given way to nightclubs, bars and lounges that range from the sedate to the sensual.

Whether you prefer your nightlife jazzy, revved up or star-struck, there is a place to go in Atlantic City. The town is best-known for its seaside casinos, most of them bursting with dance clubs.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Live dancers, a 200-square-foot HD video wall and 360-degree immersive party experience will get even those with two left feet dancing at DAER Nightclub with bottle service and a curated lineup of DJs and artists. For a calmer scene, head to live music in the Lobby Bar or cocktails in a cabana at the Beach Bar.

Ocean Resort Casino

Get out on the dance floor at the resort’s HQ2 Beachclub and Nightclub, keep the energy going at Ivan Kane's Royal Jelly Burlesque Nightclub, or keep it tamer with a show at Ovation Hall.

The Quarter at Tropicana features many options for the all-night partier.  Begin the night at Ri-Ra Irish Pub offers nightly entertainment, traditional Irish dancing, clogging and great food and music. Nearby at Cuba Libre Restaurant and Rum Bar, you can find more than just 70 different kinds of rum. Upstairs, the dance floor is always ablaze at Missile Bar with the incredible house and dance music. But the grooviest nightlife hotspot is Boogie Nights. Winner of the 2009 Atlantic City Nightlife Award for "Best Retro Club" and "Best Place to Bring a Date," Boogie Nights is the ultimate '70s and '80s dance club. Over at Providence, you won’t be able to resist dancing alongside some old and new friends. Get ready to belt it out at Planet Rose and enjoy the best karaoke around.  Famous for importing beers from around the world, Firewaters offers an impressive array of 101 bottles, 50 drafts, and seasonal selections.

Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa's night club mur.mur features some of the best DJ's like Fedde Le Grand, Jermaine Dupri, Laidback Luke and Lil' Jon. Cozy up in one of the intimate booths for bottle service to get loose for the dance floor.

Next door at Harrah's Resort and Casino, “The Pool After Dark” is a premier Atlantic City nightclub experience, opening its doors to party people every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night. Reserve a poolside table, private cabana or secluded hot tub. For those who want a little entertainment with their drinks, try Eden, Harrah's bewitching lounge that features flair bartending at The Sapphire Bar.

Resorts Atlantic City's Bar One is a great place to start or end your night because the bar is always open and is just steps away from the casino floor. Then head on down and get your parrot head on at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville featuring live music and a tiki bar.

Dusk, the evolution of nightlife, is located on the Boardwalk at Caesars Atlantic City. Dusk is a 10,000-square-foot, multi-layered nightclub with a dance floor, state-of-the-art sound and bottle service. Adjacent to Dusk is the Retro's, where it's not just the music that takes you back to the '80s, but the drinks too.

At Bally's Atlantic City, the Blue Martini features a chic setting with over 100 variations of martinis, top-shelf liquor, live music and a bar with a built-in frosted ice rail. Located in the Wild Wild West section of the casino, the 90-foot-long Mountain Bar is your watering hole to cool off, play bar-top slot machines or even take a turn on the mechanical bull. During the summer season, head outside and enjoy a one of a kind beach experience at Bally's Bikini Beach Bar.

There's no shortage of nightlife in Atlantic City. The only challenge is where to start.
