Bring your fishing poles, and head over to the Fisherman’s Cove Conservation Area on the Manasquan Inlet, or do some sport fishing with Fish Monger Charters, which also leaves from the Inlet.
Also nearby is Manasquan Reservoir, a 770-acre body of water offering ample opportunity for boating and fishing, as well as hiking and biking on the scenic, wooded trails along the perimeter. The Reservoir is stocked with large and small-mouth bass, bullhead catfish and tiger muskie, and anglers will find a peaceful retreat along on the sparkling waters.
Just want to relax? Spread out a towel and catch some sun at Manasquan Beach. Or, peruse more than 45 shops on Main Street, then catch a live theatrical production at Algonquin Arts Theatre.
