You'll find a rich history and a lively downtown in Newton, along with tons of activities in the surrounding area. The Thomas Anderson House, on Main Street, was home to the Assistant Deputy Quartermaster General during the Revolutionary War.

On Spring Street, find a frock at PB&J. Each August, nearby Augusta is host to the New Jersey State Fair and Sussex County Farm and Horse Show.

From May to October, the Sussex County Farmers' Market is held each Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm.
