Overview
A steel girder from the North Tower of the World Trade Center is mounted vertically at the base of a flagpole in Constitution Park. Affixed to a stone wall behind the steel is an informational plaque encircled by four other plaques that pay tribute to the four departments of Fort Lee's emergency responders: Fort Lee Ambulance Corps, Fort Lee Fire Department, Fort Lee Office of Emergency Management, and the Fort Lee Police Department.
