Property Description

Liberty Science Center (LSC) is a 300,000-square-foot museum in Liberty State Park on the Jersey City bank of the Hudson near the Statue of Liberty. It has 12 hands-on exhibition halls, a live animal collection with 110 species, giant aquariums, a 3D theater, a 35-foot high climbing gym, and a pitch-black, 80-foot-long, crawl-through maze.

In summer months, don't miss Jack Horner's Dino Dig where young paleontologists can dig huge fossils out from under 40 tons of sand. The Science Center also houses the Western Hemisphere's largest and most technologically advanced planetarium-the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium and LSC Giant Dome Theater. LSC has a full-service cafe and gift shop and is easily accessible via light rail from Jersey City or NYC. More than 650,000 guests visit LSC every year.
