Event Description

In honor of Black History Month (February), this exhibition explores over 300 years of race relations between blacks and whites in Morris County and greater New Jersey. Organized by Bethel Church of Morristown and curated by Claudia Ocello of Museum Partners Consulting, this series of panels traces the ties that inextricably link black and white residents together through periods of conflict and cooperation on issues such as slavery, civil rights, religion, education, and housing.

The Museum is closed on Mondays except February 17.
