One of New Jersey's oldest arts and cultural institutions, the Morris Museum is an award-winning, institution offering programs in the arts, science, history, film, jazz, theatre, speaker series and other special performances. It has a proud tradition of innovative educational programs and family events.

The museum includes the Georgian-style Frelinghuysen mansion designed by Stanford White and galleries for permanent and changing exhibitions which explore the arts, sciences and humanities. The museum is home to the permanent exhibition the Murtogh D. Guinness Collection of Mechanical Musical Instruments and Automata.  

The only collection of its kind in the Western Hemisphere, the exhibition includes more than 750 pieces of stunning craftsmanship and hands-on experiences for visitors of all ages. Live demos of collection pieces take place daily, Tuesday through Sunday at 2 pm. Changing exhibits of contemporary content also explore the Guinness themes of art, sound, and motion.
