Governor's Conference on Tourism Scheduled for April 14 to 16 in Atlantic City

The New Jersey Department of State’s Division of Travel & Tourism and the New Jersey Travel Industry Association invite you to attend the 2010 New Jersey Governor’s Conference on Tourism. This exciting and informative program is the premier travel industry event that provides tourism industry partners with education, exchange and excitement. This timely conference is scheduled for April 14, 15 and 16, 2010 at Atlantic City’s Trump Marina.

A highlight of this year’s conference is a keynote on April 15 by Roger Dow, President and CEO, U.S. Travel Association. A master storyteller, Dow’s inspiring and often humorous tales are examples of new approaches to sales and service excellence that are being used by the best and the brightest companies out there. Governor Chris Christie has been invited to speak at the Luncheon on April 15 as well.

The New Jersey Governor's Conference on Tourism is an annual event providing educational and networking opportunities to tourism industry professionals in New Jersey. It is a joint venture of the New Jersey Department of State’s Division of Travel & Tourism and the New Jersey Travel Industry Association.

Increased tourism expenditures result in job growth in the countless industries that serve the tourism industry, including construction, retail, food service, and more. The $38.8 billion New Jersey tourism industry employs over 443,000 New Jerseyans and 1 out of 9 New Jersey workers owe their job to tourism.
