This 18th century residence was the home of Commodore Lawrence Kearny, sailor-diplomat, who initiated the open door policy in China during th 1840s. Open all year on Mon. and Thur. from 2 pm - 4 pm and the last Sun. of each month from 2 pm - 4 pm.
